In both Navajo and tapestry weaving, the warp is completely hidden, allowing for a spectacular image to be displayed. In tapestry, this type of weaving is known as “pictorial” weaving. Expand your weaving skills by learning the basics of creating these beautiful textiles.

Needle felting uses needles to felt natural fiber into three dimensional shapes. In this class, you will learn to create a variety of animals, from bunnies to birds, as well as beautiful flowers.

Wet felting uses the application of warm, soapy water and agitation to make wool and other animal fibers into the fabric known as felt. Have fun, get messy, and create a Magical Watercolor Felted scarf.

Rope and cording can be made using a variety of yarns: thick, thin, smooth, looped, fuzzy, and anything in between! The ropes or cords you make in this class can be used for belts, purse handles, curtain ties, dog leashes, baskets, trims and jewelry chains!

Inkle weaving is a type of warp-faced weaving where the warp threads are moved up and down, while the weft remains fixed. Using a small, portable, and affordable inkle loom, you can weave a variety of belts, straps, dog collars and necklaces.
