Bouclé yarn is made by first creating loose loops around a core yarn, which can range from tiny circles to large curls. These loops are then secured in place by a binder thread. You can make your Bouclé very fine…..or very chunky. Bouclé yarns are really fun to spin!
Learn to spin these textured, thick and thin, curly yarns. We will also discuss bouclé patterns and techniques. $98 class includes 3 class sessions, starter fibers and use of equipment.
Did you know?…The word bouclé comes from the French “bouclé”, which means “to buckle, curl or bulge”.
