Macrame’ is a form of textile created by knotting, rather than knitting or weaving.  The technique has a long history, with the earliest evidence of the use of macrame’-style knots going back to the Babylonians and Assyrians.  This versatile fiber art can be used to make everything from wall hangings and plant hangers to jewelry, purses, and even clothing.

In this class, we will learn Modern Knotting and Macrame’ skills.  You will find that — with steady practice — there are many opportunities for growth with this very simple discipline.
