Navajo Weaving — August 11, 18, 25
August 18 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 12:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until August 25, 2022
In Navajo Weaving, as in other tapestry weaving, the warp is completely hidden. Navajo textiles typically have strong geometric patterns. Traditional Navajo weaving used upright looms with no moving parts. The weaver sat on the floor while weaving, wrapping the finished portion of the fabric underneath the loom.
