Description
Lambspun’s 100% Alpaca Yarn comes in a palette of colors inspired by Colorado’s unique landscapes. Each skein of yarn is characteristically variegated, adding to its special nature and charm. Alpaca fibers do not contain lanolin or oils, making them hypoallergenic. That means that people with wool sensitivities can wear garments made with alpaca yarns. These are also hollow core fibers — warmer than wool, but with the ability to breathe. The fiber content of 100% alpaca assures that your woven, knit or crocheted fabrics and garments will have a gorgeous sheen and drape and irresistible softness.

Notes on Lambspun yarns:
Each skein contains approximately 670 yards. Please note that the amount of color variegation varies from skein to skein. Undyed, natural colors of Alpaca Yarn vary slightly, reflecting the natural variation in the animal’s fleece. Color variegation in hand-dyed yarns is a result of the hand-dyeing process. It is possible to request more or less variegation. Be sure to purchase enough yarn to complete your project, as we cannot guarantee the availability of additional skeins of a single dye lot.
